I packed up my painting gear and went downtown to go check out Elevated Acre.
It is right behind 55 Water Street... I worked in that building forever ago!
The weather was nice, about 55 degrees.
Easy.
I got off the train at Whitehall Street.
I knew immediately I wasn't going to paint.
It was.... and I do appreciate the irony of this.... too cold.
I will paint in 17 degree weather but 55 degrees was too cold.
Because I wasn't dressed for it, and it was dark and windy.
And my head was cobwebby.
Instead I went to check out Elevated Acre and I will definitely be back there to paint.
It is no fun being out in the wind doing anything. I can see how those little trees are leaning in the wind. Better luck next time.
