Today was a good day.
And also very, very hot.
I got to the boathouse early, before anyone else, so I started opening procedures.
Then people started showing up, with breakfast.
I went on patrol for about an hour, then refreshed the goose repellent on the dock.
And then I left to paint.
I didn't want to go too far from the boathouse, so I went to Rockefeller Park and what a great scene!
This painting took an hour and a half, 8x10 oil...
Free figure painting! Who can pass that up?

I am feeling so much better today.
Wow, I really had all that trigger stuff building up for a long time and getting it out was probably necessary.
I'm not spinning anymore and I feel grounded and back in my power.
I might still get a little wobbly, but at least for today I feel a shift and this is good.
