Time Travel at the MFA

Dru was right; there's no real logic to the MFA layout.

In one room you can be in 19th century France, then all of a sudden you're in the Renaissance. 

The MFA has, I think, a better collection of Monets than the Met, and they are.... ASTOUNDING.
They also don't photograph.

I haven't seen Monet paintings glow like these glow anywhere else.

I have seen a lot or Monet paintings and, while I do like them- have never been as impressed as I was by the MFA collection.

I kept trying to get the color- the violet of the clouds- but it just didn't work.

Go see them in person; it's worth it.

This painting absolutely GLOWS but doesn't photograph at all.

This iconic Sargent portrait also doesn't photograph well.
