Back in January or so, Carey and I were feeling unmotivated so we decided to do a series together with a common theme, as we sometimes do. We keep each other going sometimes.
Our theme was Sky.
We were initially going to finish 7 paintings for the Spring.
That turned into 5 paintings for December.
This series has been hanging over me and I'm the one who was really slow but Carey didn't mind; she said she also needed the time.
Anyhow it's done and posted and a HUGE relief to get this off my easel and mental plate.
Lightening Kiss 9x12 pastel on Sennelier la Carte
Storm Stare 6x8 egg tempera
Detritus Cat 8x10 egg tempera
Pebbles Dreams 9x12 oil
Galactic 9x12 oil
I also have 2 outtakes from this series, done over the summer before I changed my mind completely and got my artistic act together.
Outtakes 1 and 2 both 9x12 pastel on mi teintes
I loke all of these.
