I don't know why it is so hard for me to get to the easel but I did, and I'm proud of myself for just showing up.
The new pastels are good.
8x10 on clear-gesso primed Canson illustration board.
(I have a bunch of it and it is rather lovely and I'm experimenting with homemade pastel surfaces.)
Unisons, Richesons, Rembrandts. (this painting took less than 2 hours. small is good for fast work. I needed something that wasn't really a commitment. Paintings can really be commitments.)
