My after-work painting days for 2026 are numbered... sunset was at 7:02pm.
But that's still enough time to do a painting down at Jamaica Bay.
Here is tonight's effort.
I saw the composition as I was walking down the path to the water- but barely on the trail.
And the painting just kind of popped out at me.
They have been doing that a lot lately, which is kind of cool.
8x10 oil
Hour and a half... tight value control on this one.
