I'm house-sitting again, since Monday. But it's really easy since it's for my friends who live in the neighborhood.
I have been staying over their place at night, making a guinea pig breakfast salad first thing in the morning, then I commute home to go to work. Which sounds really weird and wouldn't have made any sense before 2020.

At first the cats regarded me with extreme suspicion, then they realized I am pretty cool after all and we're all friends.
I love the guinea pigs. They get spa nights where I find happy guinea pig noise videos on youtube, which I play for them while I brush them.
They sing every morning when I bring them their salad.
......and today I got my Blick order with the much-stalked Derwent Shade and Tone set. :)
Sounds like you are having a good ole time. I don't know anything about the little pigs. They sound charming.

Such cute fur-kids to house-sit. I remember when Aaron, my son, had guinea pigs for a while. Very cute but they sure do poop a lot. I love the excited noises they make too.

We have quite the menagerie here with 3 dogs, 1 cat, 1 bearded dragon, 3 Cockatiels, 1 Sun Conure and around 13/14 fish aquariums and 1 outdoor pond hosting a variety of fish species. Out of that lot, I have 1 dog and 1 cat. The rest belongs to my youngest son, Aaron.
You have cats at home, don't you? I'm sure they miss you at night....just checked the previous post and yes, they do miss you. :)
The Derwent set looks very interesting...have fun!
