Briarwood didn't make it through the night.
I heard him fluttering around late last night before I went to sleep, and I checked on him and he was ok.
But this morning he has left this earthly plane.
Would he have survived if I made the journey yesterday?
I don't know, we'll never know, but I do think he was really injured.
At least his passing was safe and peaceful, and I hope better than it would have been on the side of the Van Wyck. At least I tried.

I want to just be home and not go anywhere. (Although I would have taken Briarwood to the bird people.)
