It took 2 orders with Jerry's, but I'm nicely stocked up on plein air stuff for a little while.
Box #2 arrived yesterday with my turquoise and a bunch of oil-primed linen panels!

Carey also got her box yesterday, so we're both ready to go on our Secret Project.
I'm going to try my new oil-primed linen panels out tomorrow in Central Park.
My palette is stocked up.
I got a lot of white...accidentally ordered 2 small tubes and 1 HUGE tube, but that's ok, you can't really have too much white.

Here is my basic plein air palette.
I don't always use magenta and I don't always use cad red light, but I always keep them around.
I ALWAYS use turquoise. (Must be PG50 cobalt teal... I can't believe the price Jerry's has on (artist-grade!) PG50, it's CHEAP, I have never seen it so cheap, $6.59 a tube!
The next-best price I ever saw was the Blick brand in-store at around $17, and that was a couple years ago. Right now on the Blick site their store brand (which is actually Sennelier) is $31/tube! And that's a little more "normal" for a cobalt price. Anything under $20 is pretty good.
AND I'm seeing it is a mix now!!! They have changed it, my Blick tube is single pigment PG50 but it is 2-3 years old.

I will not buy a mix. Especially not 3 pigments. Especially for that price.

Gamblin's Cobalt Teal is just under $20 but it is a different Cobalt- PB28.
I require PG50 because it is my favorite pigment in the whole world.
(PG50 leans a bit greener, and also it is my favorite which is most important.)
You must have your favorite color. I can't wait to see what you turn that pile of panels into. Fun...
