I spoke with the landlord today about the ac issue.
It's an insurance thing, there was no real answer about why it took 14 years to say something but sheesh..... it extends beyond the window sill exactly 3 1/2 inches!
I'll probably just end up having to take it out, put it back in and figure out how to pull it inside a little bit to make up for 3 1/2 inches.
So stupid.
But I feel better knowing I can maneuver a way to keep it.
It's just a stupid pain in the ass.
Someone had to work hard to find that differential. Glad you can work it out though.
