CPR at the Boathouse

Kayak season is fast-approaching, and the boathouse offers free CPR certification training.

I went, because my certification is expired.

It was a great class.

The CPR song is no longer Stayin’ Alive, it is Another One Bites the Dust.

Also, mouth-to-mouth is very de-emphasized these days, which is good because i won’t ever do it… and neither will the instructor, not even for his wife. He basically said don’t ever do it.

I learned new things that I hadn’t learned in previous classes.

This plaque is in a tiny park on Canal St…. 1805, cool!!
