Last Friday and Tuesday I attended two painting workshops in Central Park with
Danielle Hatherley, who is an excellent teacher. Both days were very productive and educational. I got to work a little larger than normal with
my new paint box.
From Friday May 7th, Shakespeare Garden:
11x14 oil on panel
Tuesday May 10, Conservatory Water
11x14 oil on panel
What beauties.
ReplyDeleteNearly a month's gone by since you mentioned your cat- what did you decide to do in the end? Let us know please. Lotsa hugs and kisses for you both.
These are both very well done, the greens are beautiful. I am so glad you are enjoying your new paint box.:D You are growing tremendously with these plein air.
ReplyDeleteConservatory Water is lovely...so relaxing...just seeing the boats out on the water partially hidden by the trees! I love the depth to the whole scene, and shadowing too! You are one amazing artist, girl!!! Glad you see you about...I was about to give a little shout out to see what you have been up to...and now I see!!!
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are great Jess. I like the first one best because of the way you captured the light on the trees. The little sail boasts in the second one gives lots of life to the picture.
ReplyDeleteYou asked about Luna the last time you visited my blog. She is part German Shepherd and part Samoyed. Good guess. She is such a good girl too. You would faint at all the dog hair she sheds though. It is in my paints and everything. Ha.. I still love her.
Looks like your knocking back that Sake and look at the result Girfriend~all jokes aside:) , I saw the first but the second is Fab.... Plein on oilygirl!!!! xxx
ReplyDeleteJust getting to grips with this, I finally have my own blog and can now follow and comment - yay!
ReplyDeleteLove these paintings!
